Certo
About Certo

Why we built Certo.

A developer's analyst spends most of the year underwriting buildings they will never buy, by hand, in a spreadsheet only they fully understand. We thought that method deserved better.

Certo does every mechanical step of an appraisal, from one address to the number an investor can sign, and leaves every decision to the person doing the work.

It is built for how development actually works in Denmark: floor area and units as you set them, the building permit and utility connections, and company tax, VAT and registration duty computed by the rules that apply. Every figure is exact to the cent.

The idea is simple. The method should live in the platform, not in one person's spreadsheet, so a firm keeps its edge even when the person who built the model is away, or moves on.

The name

Certo means true, or proven. It is what a number should be before you put your name to it.

The founder

Who is behind it.

Stig Sörnsen

Founder

I'm Stig, and I build Certo. I have worked with large enterprise systems for fifteen years, including carve-outs and integrations. I design the product and run it myself, from the code to the numbers. Certo is built and operated by my Danish company, Uno Arch (CVR 34260478).
